With the iPhone 8 series, the glass back returned to the devices, a feature many loved back in the iPhone 4 series. Unfortunately, the structure of the devices has changed completely since then, making the replacement of these parts far more complicated than it was with the iPhone 4..
It is a particularly difficult, time-consuming, and labor-intensive repair, and there are essentially two solutions for fixing a broken back cover.
Both solutions are available at our service center.

It is worth noting that official service centers do not offer back glass replacement; Apple only provides a solution through a full device replacement, which is, of course, much more expensive than the repairs available at our service center.
In terms of pricing, it may be surprising, but back glass replacement is generally a better option for newer devices, as the cost of a full back cover replacement part is usually very high. Glass replacement requires significant time, expertise, and equipment for a service center. While the repair could technically be done by replacing the entire back cover, this is always a more expensive solution than glass replacement.
There is demand for both options, so we leave the choice up to our customers.
During the repair, it is a difficult and time-consuming task to carefully remove the shards from the back glass, as it is a lengthy process. The glass removal itself occurs in several stages, with significant technological breaks in between, until the new glass is finally glued in place.
There is no need to disassemble the entire phone.
It is cheaper than a full back cover replacement.
Aesthetically, compromises must be made at the seams, and in the case of more severe damage, the other parts of the body may still show signs of damage.
It requires significant expertise from the service center.
The glass bonding process takes longer, so it cannot be completed within 24 hours.
In the case of a full back cover replacement, it's relatively easier for us, at least as a customer. There are no aesthetic issues, and we get back a perfect device. However, the price is higher than simply replacing the glass.
From the service's perspective, it requires significant experience, as the entire phone must be disassembled and reassembled into a new frame. Additionally, all adhesives and seals need to be replaced.
After a back cover replacement, we cannot offer a warranty on water resistance.
No iPhone model is truly water-resistant, as evidenced by the numerous water-damaged devices we've received at our service center (from all current models) that had never been opened before. According to Apple's stance, these devices should have been water-resistant, yet their warranty repairs were denied.
No aesthetic compromises need to be made.
Faster repair, it can even be completed the same day.
More expensive repair due to the cost of the parts.
It requires significant expertise from the service technician
As a market leader repair service, we are able to provide the highest quality batteries, offering a solution without compromises. Our technicians have many years of experience, so the quality of the repairs is unquestionable.
We’ve been the market leader in Hungary for 5 years, repairing the most iPhones.
