iPhone X repair prices

The iPhone X is Apple's first smartphone that has an edge-free design and OLED display. Because the 5.8" OLED panel is larger than previous display modules, there is more of a chance for significant damage. If the panel breaks, it has to be replaced as a whole.

Even with the new design, the iPhone X's back case is vulnerable to damage, it can scratch or break due to mechanical forces. While this only causes cosmetic issues in some cases, if the damage is more significant, it can eliminate the iPhone X's water resistance. In that case, the back case should be replaced.

While the iPhone X lasts for two further hours than the iPhone 7, its battery can also lose its capacity over time with constant usage. If the battery doesn't last as long as it should and software updates don't help the situation, the battery should be replaced. Switching out the battery can be done quickly.

While the iPhone X is compatible with wireless chargers, if we want to stick to normal charging via the Lightning cable and find that the phone doesn't charge or charges very slowly or charges only in a certain position, then usually the dock connector and its ribbon cable has to be replaced.

If the iPhone X's power button doesn't work at all, or only rarely, the button and it's ribbon cable has to be replaced. The repair is done with original parts from the manufacturer-

If the volume buttons on the side of the iPhone X gets damaged, they could fail to function or could create false inputs. In these cases, the ribbon cable has to be replaced.

If the audio quality during a call is bad and distorted, this is caused by the earpiece speaker on the iPhone 8, which needs to be replaced.

The taptic engine has an even more significant role in the iPhone X, because it creates the pressure feedback for 3D touch interactions. If that disappears, the taptic engine has to be replaced.

If some iOS functions don't work properly on the iPhone X or the system slows down, discharges faster, doesn't connect to the internet - all these can be caused by software problems. Updating to the latest iOS can usually solve these (for technical reasons, going back to previous iPad software versions is not possible).

The iPhone X is highly dust and water resistant, but even it has limits. Ultrasonic cleaning is required after liquid damage to avoid the corrosion of the logic board and therefore irreversible damage. We clean out the connectors and we resolder them, if necessary. Usually the battery also has to be replaced after liquid damage.

The logic board connector is surrounded by lots of hardware in the iPhone X which makes it very rare that it gets damaged.
